An Aunt Judy Specialty!

Ingredients

¾ C rolled oats
-
1 ⅓ C flour
-
⅓ C brown sugar
-
¼ tsp baking soda
-
¼ tsp salt

¼ tsp cinnamon
-
1 tsp lemon zest
-
1 tsp vanilla
-
1 6oz cream cheese, room temp

¼ C butter, room temp
-
2 Tbsp sugar
-
1 11oz jar Friske jam or preserves
Directions
Mix together rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and lemon zest..
In a separate bowl cream together cream cheese, butter, sugar, vanilla and add to the above mixture.
*Reserve 1 C of this crumbly mixture.
Press crumbly mixture into a 9x9 paper lined pan.
Bake 15 minutes at 350°.
Remove from oven and top with an 11 oz jar of your favorite Friske jam or preserve.
Top with the reserved cup of crumbly mixture.
Bake another 15-20 minutes until golden.
Let cool completely before slicing.
For a 9x13 pan, double ingredients and use 2 11oz jars of your favorite Friske jam.
